Elmdon Car Park

Good afternoon,

This is a message to update ELMDON Residents of a theft of a motor vehicle which occurred at around 8PM last night on 12/05/2026. This has taken place inside ELMDON PARK CAR PARK where a number of unknown offenders have attended on motorbikes and surron style bikes and stolen a motor vehicle from the car park.

Fortunately, SOLIHULL response officers have located the vehicle a short time later where the offenders have managed to escape but the bike was recovered and returned back to it's rightful owner. The investigation is ongoing.

A steering wheel lock is a great deterrent against this kind of crime. Car alarms, immobilisers and trackers are also worth investing in. Good quality CCTV equipment covering your driveway or dashcam in the car is also a deterrent and can give officers valuable footage to assist with apprehending thieves.
